Estes Park, CO

To celebrate our 10-year anniversary, my lovely wife and I recently took a trip to Estes Park, CO. Here are a few pictures from the trip!

One of the highlights from our trip was hiking Deer Mountain — a 6-mile adventure that took over 3 hours. We enjoyed every minute of it!

Unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures of us white water rafting, but that was an absolute blast. Due to the cold winter and late snow melt in the mountains, the rivers were much higher than normal. But it didn’t stop us! Afterwards, we took a tour of New Belgium Brewery in Ft. Collins (pictured below.)

Other perks of the trip included shopping, eating, and our annual couple’s massage. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. Thank you Estes Park!

Finally… A Ski Trip

NOTE: When I started this blog nearly 7 months ago, I set up certain categories. One of those was “Travel”. I’m so excited for this to be the first post within that grouping.

I went skiing for the first time in 2008. I went again in 2009. I loved everything about it — the scenery, the sport, the excitement — so naturally, I thought this would be a regular occurence. Little did I know it would be a decade before I went again.
