Nothing quite warms the heart like a good Christmas movie. It’s why The Hallmark Channel seemingly produces 67 original Christmas movies every year at this time. A truly great Christmas movie is one you can watch year after year. And it’s why I decided to write this list. My rankings were based on the following criteria:
Criteria #1 – Overall love of the movie

Criteria #2 – Embracing of the true Christmas theme
Criteria #3 – Must be a feature-length movie (Charlie Brown & the original Grinch unfortunately don’t qualify)
Close your eyes and think of Thanksgiving… Chances are that most of us see the same types of food. Of course there are different varieties, preparations, and the works. But a Thanksgiving meal is fairly universal.
I’ve taken it upon myself to rank the Top 10 Thanksgiving-Related food items. And if you disagree with me, then you’re wrong.

It happens twice a year — every spring and every fall. I get an itch. And the only cure is to scratch it. It’s called “need-to-do-a-project syndrome”.
This fall was no exception. However, I wanted to do something that met the following two criteria:
a) Could complete in 1-2 days
b) Would not be too expensive

If you’re not a sports fan, you simply don’t get it. This is why my wife thinks I’m certifiably insane.
Sports — specifically team sports — bring something out in us that defies logic. I have screamed, yelled, cursed, cried, kicked, and (my personal favorite) thrown the remote. All because a group of people I’ve never met performed worse at their craft than a second group of people I’ve never met. Yeah, it really is stupid.

September is a big time of year in my world, both personally and professionally. As someone who earns a living from people watching TV, how can you not be excited by Fall Premiere Season. There’s something truly magical about that final week in September when TV buzz is at its peak. With the season in mind, I thought now would be a perfect time to list my ten favorite TV series of all-time.
I should note that this ranking was extremely tough. When I recently ranked my 10 favorite movies, I felt like the list was complete because I truly feel like I’ve watched 95% of most great movies. However, I know I haven’t watched all the great TV shows. It’s such a huge time commitment. In the amount of time it would take me to rewatch the entire series of Friends (commercial-free even), I could watch roughly 45 movies. That’s insane! So I encourage your suggestions for my next show to watch.

When I was in college, a group of friends and I started the Gorilla Legends Fantasy Football League. 12 years later, that league is still going strong. Some of the people have changed. Some of the rules have changed. But the heart of the league is still there. And it’s always the league I reference when I refer to “my team”.
Every year (because I’m crazy) I write a season preview soon after the GLFFL draft and I email it to all my leaguemates. This year, I’m posting it for the public. Here’s a (very) quick overview of the league:
– 10 teams
– Ability to keep up to two players (cost varies depending on where player was drafted last season)
– 16 roster spots / standard roster positions
– Standard scoring for the most part (no PPR)
With that said, ladies and gentlemen, here is the 2018 GLFFL Season Preview:

Before I begin, let me say this list is extremely biased. It’s 100% influenced by my location, my job, my family, and my interests. There’s nothing objective about the words to follow. So accept these circumstances and enjoy the ride!
